We believe that God gave the words in the Bible to its writers for our benefit.
“All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right. It is God’s way of preparing us in every way, fully equipped for every good thing God wants us to do.”
(2 Timothy 3:16-17)
Statement of Faith
We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three persons –
Father, Son and Holy Spirit
“Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.”
(Matthew 28:19)
We believe that Jesus is God in human form.
“In the beginning the Word already existed. He was with God, and he was God.” (John 1:1) “So the Word became human and lived here on earth among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness.”
(John 1:14)
We believe Jesus’ mother was a virgin when He was born.
“All of this happened to fulfill the Lord’s message through his prophet: “Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and he will be called Immanuel (meaning, God is with us).”
(Matthew 1:22-23)
We believe Jesus was perfect and did not do anything wrong.
“He is the kind of high priest we need because he is holy and blameless, unstained by sin. He has now been set apart from sinners, and he has been given the highest place of honor in heaven.”
(Hebrews 7:26)
We believe Jesus performed miracles.
“And a huge crowd kept following him wherever he went, because they saw his miracles as he healed the sick.”
(John 6:2)
We believe that Jesus left heaven and took the form of a man so that His death would pay the price for our sins.
“He is so rich in kindness that he purchased our freedom through the blood of his Son, and our sins are forgiven.”
(Ephesians 1:7)
We believe that Jesus came alive after His death on the cross.
“He was buried, and he raised from the dead on the third day, as the Scriptures said.”
(1 Corinthians 15:4)
We believe that Jesus arose from earth to heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father.
“When the Lord Jesus had finished talking with them, he was taken up into heaven and sat down in the place of honor at God’s right hand.”
(Mark 16:19)
We believe that Jesus will return to Earth in power and glory.
“They said, “Men of Galilee, why are you standing here staring in the sky? Jesus has been taken away from you into heaven. And some day, just as you saw him go, he will return!”
(Acts 1:11)
